Don’t think it’s been open long mate , I’d take a look at there Instagram and most posts give you tips
Watch Neil Spooners latest video on the korda channel he fishes there and gives tips and shows what methods he's catching on
I've been twice now and I've done well fishing over plenty of pellet with little yellow or white wafters, the guys there are extremely helpful .
I’ve watched a few videos filmed at Norton Disney and all say use solid bags with house pellet that they sell.
Not fished there but apparently pink hookbaits
Chris Hall heard you know a lot about this place mate?
Fish with what your confident using and they will slip up , the fish Haven’t been in there that long so what works for you should work well in there
Apparently from their FB page is going good!
When choose a swim they do have lake map on boards around each lake so can see what features may have aswell
Nicky Milner might be able to help you he's had alot of the big ones out frankie
I’d use there bait, they have a mixture of “Norton special” pop ups made by mainline I believe you can buy them out the tackle van and you can buy there pellet aswell, I done well on hodgetts on a 12ft zig yellow and black foam, and there white pop ups over there pellet
I fished there the weekend. Got back today. Had 13 fish out between 2 lakes.
Yellow baits 100%
Had yellow 12mm pop up over Norton pellet and a 10ft zig in 18ft of water with yellow foam.
Few tips for holdens
Think he face says it all dad. Well done young man👍🎣
Awsome buddy. You do realise everytime you buy tackle you have to buy for both of you.......the upside is the wife doesn't complain when she realises im buying for my lad 😁

Well done to young man nice fish there best of luck with your fishing
The same ones that work for little ones 🤣 joking aside stick to what u know and are confident in
Every rig is dependent on what hookbait you use..
Stick to whats working give it a try. If not go back to where you feel comfortable with smaller fish and a different rig when your happy with a new rig try it for bigger fish. Dont over complicate things
If you're starting out learn your way catching carp up to the 20lb mark and when you're more experienced and your confidence has grown then target the bigger carp. Enjoy the journey 👌🏼
Go for the pre tied rigs from korda I would recommend so you can guarantee the rigs are tied correctly and stick with wafters or slow sinking baits as pop ups can be quite tricky to work with
Get on you tube and make your own much more satisfying catching on your own rigs.
I've seen many fish from 60 to 70lb+ caught on size 8's and many even on 10's. There's really not a huge amount you have to change. Unless there's a rig that works specifically well for a certain venue then simple rigs are always the place to start too - just keep everything neat and well presented.
I always have one, sometimes two on blowback rig. Have for over thirty years.
Gd fishing .Very lucky to get a dubble figer barbal .they don't come along often, well dun .👍
Nice one mate
Well done buddy
Now that's what you call a great first river session! Well done and a double figure barbel! Top work Blank 2 Bank Fishing
Quality fish and a great session well done.
Nice fish mate, also nice slippers 😉
Great sesh always good to hear but there always somebody who asks what bait you had it on!
Well done! Never fished a river so might have a bash one day bet that put a good fight
Brilliant. I have never fished a river. But my wife has booked a holiday in Bournemouth with fishing on the stour. Looking forward to the experience.
Very nice 👍
Any idea where you can find these type of barbels in Scotland? My dad loves that fish. I don't mean to eat, he calls it the most powerful fish of the river although he caught huge carps, catfishes before.
Fished it many times, nice little complex. 5 small lakes, 2 of which are mainly match lakes. Virtually guaranteed to catch. Not had anything over 7lb though but apparently there are bigger ones in Spring lake

Can I use this post as an opportunity to say - never, ever release a fish that has been kept in a koi pond or fish tank into your local lake or river. There's now a plethora of diseases and parasites that have been introduced into the UK via the ornamental fish trade amongst other things. You could potentially wipe a lake out with a single fish if it's carrying something nasty.
Damon Yates , Jake Casey Jason Croft and Paul Heald , you all built identical ponds and bought the same koi's 😂😂😂😂👍👍
I have a set of K9’s seem very good so far have had them since March and no problems.
I have completed 6 overnight sessions with them and still on same batteries.
Not used these but I love my fox mx. Best thing about these fox is you can change colours and you get change from 300. 😂
Get the new ones
I've got same set there a bit temperamental tbf
I had a set of the k9 alarms and I loved them just upgraded to the s9 alarms
Love mine never missed a beat
Just throwing this out there... I got 2 Ron Thompson alarms for 20 quid from local tackle shop and they are brilliant😂
Iv got the S9s and have no issues with them but I am upgrading to k9s very soon , the lad I fish with has them and there class , if they were twice the price and had Nash/Fox/Delk on the lable every 1 would be thrapping off over them
I use the ND S9 alarms and can't fault them in all honesty
You should blurr your home address out by the way, it's never good to post that on social media. =)
I have the ks9 s and can’t fault them even have the head torch and bivvy light which both turn on at night when you get a bite great bit of kit
Great alarms, I’ve fished in some atrocious conditions with them and as long as you take the batteries out when your not on the bank they are great.
10/10 from me mate. Served me very well.
I have the s9 set with Receiver and love them, I also have the wrist band, head torch and Bivy light and they all connect together so when the alarms go off both lights go on, I can then turn the lights off via the wrist band when needed as well as the wrist band vibrating to indicate a bite.
I love New Directions gear
You can get a set of nash siren r3's for not much more than that
For that money you'd be better getting Nash r3 2nd hand.
I have the nd S9s and amazing alarms but for that money I'd go nash
Is this the ones that you can get a wrist band that vibrates for.was looking at the set of 3 alarms, bivvy light and wrist band a few months ago anyone got them and would you recommend them?
I do and cannot fault them. App is a bit out of date but is ok
Had them sold them …. Had problems with the lighthouse snag ears and buttons would fall off and the batteries are different and you will need a few of them , I changed to delkims then to fox rx plus just went for quality and something that would last a while
I had them they seemed good well built, set them up worked ok till my first session with them, the Bluetooth stopped working and one alarm stopped working. Contacted ND they directed me back to Amazon, spoke to customer services and they said “we will refund you, we’ve had loads back” just my experience. Personally they feel good and a lot of people I know have them and can’t fault them. Maybe just a bad batch.
