If you dig enough, you will probably find nearly all line is made in the same factories in places like China. The rest is just marketing under different labels. There are different specs of line, but basically prologic, just like all the other companies, don’t make line themselves and use the same supply sources.
Not had that specific one but has there mimicry camo and liked it
Have been using it in 15lb on a set of okuma 6000 reels. It's ok. Not had any problem with it to moan about. Knots are strong, it sinks, it works. Not alot more to say about it
I tried fully booked till next year got told to call up beginning feb
Your be lucky its fully booked now till next year however plantation they go to 40lb+ 4/5 people only a lake where you have to be quite as a mouse North lake fishes 10 people fish to 50lb spodding is the way on there
Good luck with the booking
Bookings open on 2nd Jan and fill up within a couple of days
I’ve fished plantation a number of times and as a group we have had fish to 39lb .. tough little water
You may get the odd place on the north lake but it gets exclusively booked on the first day for the whole year.
Been fishing there for 6 years and have never got on the north lake
They will do the job mate, unfortunately you will always get buy cheap buy twice of people but you buy what's in your budget? I have a ngt fortress xl which is their 2man bivvy and I won't change it because it does the job and its huge
I’ve got the one man version can’t complain. easy to put up and down, plenty of space for my bedchair and I’ve stayed dry and comfortable during storms in it. Never going to be the best bivvy going but definitely good for the price you pay if you’ve a membership card imo.
I have a westlake fragment 2 man bivvy and wrap and mine is still going strong after 2 years massive bivvy and does me well
One of my mates has this bivvy with the overwrap and it’s not to bad to be honest. Will do a good turn till you can afford to upgrade. Simon Shorter
I have the 2 man really good had for 2yer no problems still 👌💯
Nice one thanks folks.
I have a fox 1 man that I use regular and I want a cheap 2 man when the missus comes on a weekend. What do I get for £160 for this? No ground sheet or inner I’m guessing? Doesn’t say on the go outdoors website.
My son has one. Wished he'd gone for 2 man but other than that is ok
I have the 2 man and can’t complain
I’ve had the 1 man for 3 years now, It’s been out in all weathers and is still like new. Great value bivvy
Honestly can't fault quality of GoOutdoors bivvies but the Westlake Fragment 2man has a peak as standard which puts it above the Particle for me.
If you know anyone with a Blue Light Card, you’ll get it even cheaper!
Me an my mate have it with to over wrap and it’s well good for the money
I had the 2 man fragment for a couple of years.. was a great bit of kit, ok..only used it for about 10 weekneders a year, but solid as anything and the overwrap was a bonus.. 10/10 for money
I found it a great bivvy but have upgraded to a tempest 200.
I’ve got it for sale with a winter wrap
Thay are good and you need the peak for one I've got a new one I'm selling £35
The quality is very good and at the moment is a bargain and with the winter skin. Your going to be glad you spent your money.
Had 1 for 2 years mate no complaints.
Ok so it’s the Fragment from go outdoors for £160 or the advanta for £120 from AD ? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
They ain't bad at all for the price
Had one for 2 years can't fault it.
Kids brought me one for fathers day. Plenty of room. I'm really impressed with it. They got me the wrap with it...which turned up in a massive box...because they messed up and sent me 4 of them🤣🤣🤣🤣 happy days...
Vary it depending on the rig, lake and bait I am using. Shorter if spot fishing, longer if fishing boilies with a wider spread. Bottom makes a difference as well as if silty I tend to use a slightly longer hook link
Depends on bait, bottom or even rig
If I'm fishing over parti I'd often use a 3-4 inch blowback with the heaviest lead i van get away with
If a spread of boilies then longer rigs. Same If its a bit choddy or silty
Short, medium, long 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
10inch ..give them enuff to hang them self.s ..😘🐟🐟👁
Great food, amazing baileff who will cater to your every need, fish are 100%.
You won't be disappointed
La valdor in France. Been there a few times and always had a good number of fish. Got so many lakes to choose from and there is electricity on each swim and can even get a cabin to store stuff in to. Highly recommended and family friendly to.
Chigboro fisheries , heybridge , carp up to 41lb or clayfield fisheries, weeley with countless 30's in amd 3 or 4 know 40lb plus fish
Defo Blasford Hill - don’t ignore the margins as they always produce - as already stated the fish give themselves away so just keep your eyes peeled and if you have the opportunity move onto them - you have no chance on a weekend though so try and get over there weekdays
I have a prolific runs water in the heart of pays de la Loire region. Only 30 mins west of Le Mans… I have over 800 fish up to 45lb.
I hire the everything someone needs for a weeks fishing…
I have modern facilities to my lake - power to swims, huts that provide more storage, fridges and kettles.
I also do a food package…
My Facebook page is Rushes Lake
Hope of interest
We have full setup rental option & bait also, we are very close to either St Malo or Caen ports ( without toll roads) , 7 acre private secure gravel pit with great local facilities too, please visit www.stbricecarping.fr, plus we have some space available for 2022
We do complete packages inc airport pickups if required you can be fishing within 3 hrs of leaving U.K. !
If your looking for a small runs water, look at etang max. Definitely get a bend in the rod, 3 of us went over 80 fish caught biggest just under 38lb but bigger in there. Great hosts and ideal for beginner/new anglers and cheap as chips
David Brown at Les moulins highly recommend
Try Pegasus Lakes might have some things your after 👍
